In 2025, Hearst earned two Pulitzer Prizes, with Esquire and the Houston Chronicle recognized for exceptional storytelling and public service. Esquire’s Mark Warren won in the Feature Writing category for his moving portrait of a small-town pastor, while the Houston Chronicle team earned Editorial Writing honors for the paper's powerful series on dangerous train crossings.
